The incredible creatives at Blinking Light Theatre put on a challenging task in the play, ‘39 Steps’ hidden in a small performance space on the edge of Glebe, Sydney. A show that runs up to 150 characters condensed down to just four! Blinking Light Theatre trusted me to capture the promotional photos to help entice and intrigue potential audiences.
39 Steps
‘Blinking Light Theatre showed the true essence of ‘The show must go on!’
This show was run in a tiny run down performance space by a small group of creatives that believed in the potential of independent theatre. Blinking Light Theatre showed the true essence of ‘The show must go on!’ and it was an honour photographing such an incredible group of creatives. Seeing their ability to change inside and outside to take on each new role across all 150 characters of the show all while working in a challenging space. This type of photography is intimate and comes with its own challenges from choice of gear and low lighting states.
